Central Minister Dr. Mahesh Sharma, while attending a program at Indira Gandhi Kala Kendra in Sector 6 Noida provided the information that the proposed Noida International Airport in Jewar, will be the biggest airport in the country. This airport will be 4 times bigger than Mumbai Airport and 2.5 times bigger then IGI Airport.
He further stated that the Noida Pradhikaran is trying to start the work of elevated Road from sector 14A chilla regulator to Mahamaya Flyover. He was hopeful that the work will start as soon as NOC is available. He told that 5 acres land has been provided the construction of Noida Habitat Centre in sector 94. He was sure infrastructure projects will help to improve the image of Noida.
In the first phase, 48491 square meter land has been reserved for the parking, this will ensure that there is no problem of parking at the Jewar airport. A total of 50000 cars can be Park in this area. CEO of Yamuna authority Dr. Arunveer Singh told that an open parking will be constructed at Jewar Airport, this is to make sure that passengers traveling inside outside the country are not troubled for parking space. For 2nd phase 39584 square meter of land has been reserved for parking. He further stated that if the need arises the basement will be converted parking area.
