A scheme for industrial land allotment near Jewar international airport has been launched by the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA).
On Tuesday, CEO of YEIDA Arunveer Singh said, “Plots over 4,000 square metres will be allotted to the industrialists under this open-ended scheme.” “The plot allotment scheme would start from Wednesday and the entire land allotment process will be held online,” added Singh. Giving the details further, Arunveer said, “Interested candidates can find the summary of the industrial land allotment scheme on our website and apply with detailed Jewar Airport Project report. After we will analyze the report, candidates will be called for further process. Candidates can submit the processing fee online.”
Further revealing the details, OSD to Yeida, Shailendra Bhatia shared that lately, popular Bollywood filmmaker Boney Kapoor has expressed keen interest in developing a film city here. In his visit, last week, Kapoor met the concerned officials and discussed regarding the allotment of 30-acre land for the same. Also, he said that companies like Vivo Mobile and Airtel are also willing to invest in this industrial land. According to the officials, “A lottery system will be launched to allot land below 4,000 square metres. Also, authorities are looking forward to soon launch a similar scheme for institutional land.”
In the meanwhile, the Yamuna Authority officials along with district administration have initiated a one-week consent-taking meeting with farmers for Jewar International Airport land acquisition. Recently, officials held a meeting in Ramner village but farmers and land owners snubbed the deal. They demanded four times the circle rates as the compensation. Also, the officials held meetings in villages like Ranehra, Banwariwas, Mukeempur Shivara, Parohi, Kishorpur and Dayanatpur to take approval from land owners. Reportedly, for the acquisition of 481.53 hectare of land in Roli village, meetings will be held on Wednesday and Thursday.
