Yogi Government to Show Jewar Airport in Defence Corridor US Meet

The top US based companies who are scheduled to hold meetings with the top level UP official which is being lead by the Health Minister of Uttar Pradesh and Government Spokesperson, Sidharth Nath Singh, including Lockheed Martin, Boeing and Honeywell which are flag bearers of aviation industry.

The Jewar Airport in Greater Noida and Defence Corridor in Bundelkhand is all set to steer the projection of Industrial climate in UP, in the past so many years, UP has not witnessed any industrial set up apart from Noida and Greater Noida. A 5member delegation is all set to hit the summit including IID Commissioner Anup Chandra Pandey will leave for USA to collaborate with the US Industry.

Other companies which are available in the business meet includes CISCO, Amazon, Intel, Adobe, Oracle, 3M, Gilead Sciences, Pepsico, Medtronics, Varian Medical System, Master Card, Pfizer and Hunstman.
the Business Meets are conducted under the supervision of US-India Strategic Partnership Forum on October 23, 2017 the top executives from blue chip companies under USISPF umbrella had a meeting with the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath to explore the diversified investment opportunities in UP.

Whereas, the Jewar Airport is being developed with the budget of over Rs 157 billion, the defence corridor will get the investment of rs 200 billion and both the projects are being developed with the cooperation of centre.

According to the reports, the Jewar Airport will have the capacity to handle 70 million passengers. The Jewar Airport is all set to be a multipurpose airport, with pilot training and aircraft maintenance, repair hub. The state government wanted leverage from central government.

The UP Defence corridor is all set to save arms import and it becomes fully operational. The government already approved 3000 hectares for the corridor.
